FINAL FANTASY XI News - May 24, 2010 12:14 PM PDT | Posted by TheWaffleCult
|
Today, Final Fantasy XI developers confirmed on the American site that the next content update for FFXI would usher in a few exciting changes to the Chains of Promathia expansion zones.
The level cap in these areas will be lifted, and the mobs and gear drops will be adjusted to pose a challenge to high-level players. The same will also happen to the battlefield missions, meaning that level 75 players who've missed out on this lowbie content will have a chance to take it for a much more challenging spin!

This first pack will be designed for players level 30 and up, and cost $9.99. The battles themselves, however, are geared towards endgame characters at level 75. PlayOnline has put these scant piece of information up on the new site. Other than that, details are still scarce - we'll let you know as soon as more becomes available!
